US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to visit the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain from June 23 to 25 to discuss key regional priorities. During his stop in Bahrain, Secretary Rubio will meet with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to address shared regional issues, including the recent memorandum of understanding with Iran and efforts to secure full and free safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz. The diplomatic tour highlights the ongoing US focus on peace and stability in the Middle East.
