Dubai Holding awards AED5 billion contract for new headquarters and Jumeirah residences

Dubai Holding has awarded an AED5 billion construction contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East for the development of its new headquarters and Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers.

The contract is the largest construction award made by Dubai Holding to date.

The project will include the group’s new headquarters as well as two towers containing 754 branded residences.

The headquarters is scheduled to open in 2029 and has been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the architecture and engineering practice behind a number of major international landmarks.

The development is part of Dubai Holding’s continued investment in large-scale commercial and residential assets as Dubai expands its business and luxury property sectors.

The project is also expected to generate activity across construction, professional services, hospitality and related sectors.
