President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has begun a state visit to Germany aimed at strengthening relations between the UAE and one of its key European partners.
During the visit, the UAE President is scheduled to meet German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
The discussions are expected to cover bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international developments.
The UAE and Germany have built a broad economic relationship covering trade, investment, energy, technology and industrial cooperation.
UAE Ambassador to Germany Ahmed Al Attar described the visit as an important milestone in relations between the two countries, pointing to opportunities to expand cooperation further.
The visit comes at a particularly sensitive time for Europe and the Gulf, with energy security, regional stability and international trade high on the agenda.
