Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held a telephone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to discuss regional developments.
The two ministers also reviewed bilateral cooperation and ways of expanding relations between Kuwait and Pakistan.
The conversation comes as Gulf governments step up diplomatic contacts following the latest escalation involving Saudi Arabia, Iran and Yemen.
For Kuwait, regional security is closely tied to energy exports, maritime trade and the safety of its large expatriate population.
