Qatar resumes LNG shipments through Strait of Hormuz as tanker heads to Pakistan

Energy tracking data confirmed that the Qatari LNG tanker Al Areesh has entered the Gulf of Oman en route to Pakistan, marking Qatar’s first LNG export through the Strait of Hormuz following recent regional maritime security disruptions.

The movement signals a critical step toward restoring regular liquefied natural gas supply routes out of Qatar, helping ease international energy supply concerns amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to secure regional waterways.
