The Bahrain Defence Force announced on September 2, 2026, that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed multiple Iranian drones targeting civilian areas and infrastructure.

Bahraini authorities urged residents to avoid touching or photographing unidentified debris or interception sites and to report any suspicious objects to security personnel immediately.
