Kuwait activates air defenses against hostile aerial threats amid regional strikes

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced that its air defense systems successfully engaged and intercepted hostile aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace. The audible explosions heard across parts of the country were confirmed to be the result of active mid-air interception operations. This alert follows a series of recent drone strikes targeting three border posts and an offshore drilling platform operated by the Kuwait Oil Company. Authorities have urged citizens and residents to remain calm and strictly follow official safety protocols.
