Kuwait strongly condemns Iranian attack on Emirati oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement strongly condemning the Iranian cruise missile attacks targeting two Emirati oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. Reaffirming its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry described the incident as a flagrant violation of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 2817 that directly threatens global maritime security. Kuwait called for an immediate halt to regional escalations and urged compliance with international laws ensuring safe passage through vital waterways.
