A major transition for outsourced Indian consular services has officially gone live across the United Arab Emirates today, July 1, 2026, with Alhind Tours and Travel LLC assuming full responsibility for processing passport, visa, and attestation applications. The strategic shift follows a multi-day suspension of routine services while operations were transferred from former service providers BLS International and SGIVS Global.

Coinciding with the operational handover, Indian expatriates will navigate a newly updated schedule of fees for renewals, emergency processing, and replacement passports. While the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai managed urgent emergency cases over the transition period, regular appointments and regular services under the new provider are systematically resuming to optimize processing efficiency.
