Saudi Arabia accelerates logistical network with Al Wajh International Airport expansion and new industrial rail link

Saudi Arabia has advanced two major transport infrastructure milestones under the Vision 2030 economic and logistics blueprint. Red Sea Global (RSG) formally announced the completion of the comprehensive modernization and redevelopment program at Al Wajh International Airport (EJH) in the Tabuk Region, increasing annual passenger capacity to 500,000. Commercial flights operated by national carrier Saudia have successfully resumed to connect the region to key hubs. Simultaneously, the Kingdom has accelerated its industrial logistics network by expanding a rail freight link that connects more than 1,000 manufacturing and industrial facilities in Dammam directly to the national rail grid, dramatically optimizing supply chain efficiencies.
